Ambassador Nyhus recently met with environmental and agricultural leaders from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, and Saint Kitts and Nevis who are gearing up for a special International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States on Climate Smart Agriculture this June. The United States is proud to continue advancing sustainability in the region through this IVLP program and #PACC2030, fostering global collaboration for a greener future. 🌱
Launched in 1940, the #IVLP fosters mutual understanding between the United States and other nations by facilitating professional visits for foreign leaders. With over 4,500 participants annually, the program enables emerging leaders to meet their U.S. counterparts, gaining insights into American culture, politics, and society. Through these exchanges, participants enhance their understanding of global challenges and forge lasting connections for collaborative solutions.
