Ministry of Agriculture Officials visit to CARDI
On Saturday 17, February we were delighted to welcome a team of officials from the Antigua Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Immigration and Barbuda Affairs, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, to the CARDIcaribbean Field Station in Betty’s Hope.
The team toured the field station and held fruitful discussions on the Institute’s work programme in Antigua as well as wider regional initiatives.
Future areas of collaboration were discussed with some priority areas for intervention identified. One such, was water access, which will enable the institute to expand our research programme.
We look forward to deepening our partnership with the Ministry so greater benefits can be realized by all stakeholders.
