The WATER FOR ALL Pitch Competition

The WATER FOR ALL Pitch Competition, funded by the United States Agency for International Development’s Eastern and Southern Caribbean’s office, seeks entrepreneurs located in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean (ESC) to submit game-changing innovations that focus on the water sector (further described herein). Eligible countries in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean are Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago. The Competition is an extension of the WATER IS LIFE Conference that took place in Barbados June 7-8, 2023.The competition aims to:

  1. Identify and fund promising innovators at the nexus of the climate and water sectors,
  2. Understand the nature, progress, and scale of small and growing enterprises in the region, and
  3. Connect water-tech entrepreneurs to global investors, mentors, and an ecosystem of business development support options for follow-on assistance that will support the scalability of their innovation.

The Pitch competition will amplify the private sector’s role in water solutions by showcasing promising innovations and practices and to strategically connect them to advanced support systems that will ultimately support the scaling up of their innovations for the benefit of all. It will serve to inspire anyone within the ESC region that meets the entrance criteria to pitch innovative solutions addressing an evolving and complex problem affecting the water sector. This would enable testing of ideas to identify what works, and catalyze follow-on investments for and bring attention to proven solutions for greater scale. The submission portal to receive entries for the WATER FOR ALL Pitch Competition is now open.  Eligible entities are encouraged to submit entries on or before the submission deadline of July 14, 2023.  Click this link to submit your entry: https://www.challenge.gov/?challenge=water-for-all
