FARMING IN ANTIGUA TODAY

Farmers in Antigua and Barbuda, often endure hardships in farming such as insufficient water, praedial larceny and storage just to name a few.  However, despite those challenges, farmers still produce under conditions and ensure that they produce the best quality produce for consumers.

Farmer in the South-Central District, Orlando Fraser recently reaped a sixty-pound (60lbs) pumpkin from his farm which he would have planted in October.

We acknowledge farmers who continue to produce and contribute to the food security of the nation. Keep up the good work!
