IICA MTP MEETING
Antigua and Barbuda National Specialist with the Eastern Caribbean States Team.
After a 4 years hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic the ECS Technical Team convened a two day meeting in the St. Lucia IICA Delegation to discuss technical cooperation matters focusing on 2022 accomplishments and achievements as well as strategies in 2023 for the ECS Delegations given that the institute just approved it’s new Medium Term Plan (MTP) 2022-2026.
The meeting was timely as several important outputs were achieved such as draft concept notes for priority actions aligned with member states priorities as well as strategies to attract external resources to support the agricultural sector. The ECS Team is comprised of 17 persons compromise of Technical Officers, Executive Secretaries and Auxiliary Staff Members along with the ECS Representative.
