Ffryes Reverse Osmosis Plant

During his visit to Antigua and Barbuda the Japanese Ambassador, Matsubara Yutaka was given a tour of the Reverse Osmosis Plant located at Ffryes Beach.  Ian Lewis, APUA’s Water Manager conducted the tour of the facility.  While there, the ambassador sampled the water produced by the plant from a tap and congratulated the Water Authority on the quality of water that was produced.

The Ffryes Reverse Osmosis Plant primarily serves the southern villages was recently upgraded.  This upgrade was supported by the Japanese Government and the plant is now producing a maximum of 350,000 imperial gallons of water daily.
