COP 27 WILL PROVIDE AGRICULTURE IN THE AMERICAS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE ITS SUSTAINABILITY AND DEMAND FUNDING FOR CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION, SAY MINISTERS OF AGRICULTURE IN COSTA RICA

 

 

COP 27 will provide agriculture in the Americas with an opportunity to showcase its sustainability and demand funding for climate change adaptation, say ministers of Agriculture in Costa Rica

Following the panel discussion “Agriculture in climate scenarios”, remarks were made by Fernando Mattos, of Uruguay; scientist Rattan Lal; Ayman Amin, of Egypt; Carlos Ruiz, of the UNFCCC; Deputy Minister Luis Alberto Villegas, of Colombia; Deputy Minister Eduardo Izaguirre, of Ecuador; Luis Miguel Murillo, of Bolivia; and the Director General of IICA, Manuel Otero.
