International Day of Rural Women | October 15, 2026

Theme: “Rural Women Farmers Caring for Mother Nature”

This International Day of Rural Women, we shine the spotlight on some of the remarkable women making a difference in agriculture across Antigua and Barbuda.

Their dedication, resilience and contributions remind us of the importance of empowering rural women, amplifying their voices and ensuring they have equal opportunities to grow and thrive.

When rural women rise, our communities grow stronger and our future becomes brighter!

The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries and the Blue Economy proudly celebrates and salutes you!
