{"id":9113,"date":"2024-04-02T21:19:52","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T21:19:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agriculture.gov.ag\/?p=9113"},"modified":"2024-04-02T21:19:52","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T21:19:52","slug":"march-poultry-seminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agriculture.gov.ag\/index.php\/2024\/04\/02\/march-poultry-seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"March Poultry Seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Poultry Seminar held on 28th March was facilitated by Dr<strong>. <\/strong>Ibrahim Allaz, veterinary officer within the Ministry of Agriculture&#8217;s Veterinary and Livestock Division.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Allaz focus was mainly on <strong><em>Coccidia and Mycotoxins<\/em><\/strong> parasitic and fungi (respectively) invasion in poultry.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Coccidia<\/em><\/strong> is a protozoa parasite that destroys the lining of a chicken\u2019s intestines.\u00a0 It causes damaged intestines, resulting in malnutrition. \u00a0Additionally, he demonstrated the symptoms, diagnosis, ailments and treatments.
