IICA and the FAO collaborated on a trade facilitation intervention in 2023. The intervention is led by the International Trade and regional Integration programme. The hosting of the Caribbean Agri-Food Virtual Trade Mission served as the flagship activity under the intervention.\u00a0 However, the intervention also included capacity building at the national and regional level.\u00a0 The capacity building continues in 2024.<\/p>\n

The next regional capacity building session is scheduled for Thursday 29th<\/sup>\u00a0February at 6 pm (AST)<\/b>.\u00a0 The session will address\u00a0Costing Strategies for Agro-processors and Exporters<\/b>.\u00a0\u00a0It is a two-part series with the first session being held this Thursday<\/u>.\u00a0 This issue is a critical skill for micro, small and medium sized producers and exporters who wish to be competitive.\u00a0 We are therefore seeking to ensure that as many businesses as possible benefit from the experience.<\/p>\n
