{"id":5088,"date":"2023-01-12T13:57:37","date_gmt":"2023-01-12T13:57:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agriculture.gov.ag\/?p=5088"},"modified":"2023-01-12T13:59:26","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T13:59:26","slug":"5088","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agriculture.gov.ag\/index.php\/2023\/01\/12\/5088\/","title":{"rendered":"NATIONAL MILK DAY 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/agriculture.gov.ag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/istockphoto-513470606-612x612-1.jpg\" width=\"747\" height=\"498\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>National Milk Day is a commemoration of the first bottled milk delivered back in 1878.\u00a0 Milk was delivered in glass bottles sealed with wax to homes across America.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>National Milk Day<\/strong>\u00a0is observed on 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0January and by no means should be confused for\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cWorld Milk Day\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>which is internationally commemorated on 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0June.<\/p>\n<p>According to research there is no clear indication of who actually started this but it has been observed and celebrated in different ways.\u00a0 Person are encouraged to utilize milk and milk-based products more on that the day, there were lots of nutritional information disseminated via media platforms, learning institutions and persons were also encourage in making their own homemade cheese, yogurts and other products. United States and Australia are the two leading producers and exporters of milk and its by-products.<\/p>\n<p>FAO has stated that 85% of the world milk production comes primarily from cattle.
