Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s newest Rhodes Scholar and a remarkable young<\/div>\n
scientist whose work is already shaping the conversations about innovation in our<\/div>\n
region.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Resa\u2019s achievement is entirely her own \u2014 earned through long hours in the lab,<\/div>\n
academic excellence, and a fearless curiosity that pushes beyond conventional<\/div>\n
boundaries.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Her journey from Antigua and Barbuda to Hofstra University and now to Oxford stands as proof of what disciplined vision can produce. She represents the best<\/div>\n
of our youth: focused, self-driven, unafraid to tackle complex problems, and committed<\/div>\n
to pursuing solutions that benefit communities far beyond herself.<\/div>\n
Her research, particularly in turning sargassum into renewable energy sources and<\/div>\n
other value-added products, connects powerfully to the direction in which Antigua and Barbuda must move. While her achievement is not agricultural in the traditional sense, it<\/div>\n
sits at the frontier where science, environmental stewardship, and agro-processing<\/div>\n
meet. This is the kind of thinking that will help us transform challenges into industries,<\/div>\n
and natural resources into opportunities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Ministry is proud to celebrate her success. Resa\u2019s story shows that our young<\/div>\n
people are more than capable of leading in global spaces \u2014 not by imitation, but<\/div>\n
