They were greeted by Mr. Janiel Simon\/Nursery Manager and his coworker Ms. Sonika Regis.<\/p>\n<p>While there the interns got a taste of being real nursery workers. Pushing the cutlasses into soil until it covered the root base of the Suriname Cherry and watered the plants. Additionally, they helped to move and arranged plants like Suriname cherry, Cashew, Mango, Five Finger\/Star Fruit and changed plant bags.\u00a0 Around two hundred (200) plants are planted\/transferred per day.<\/p>\n<p>The interns had a short educational session with Mr. Simon. They were educated on how to cover the root base and facts like it takes around three months for a plant to have the ability to survive on its own.
